BRUINS' NEED HELP AND TO SHOW UP
81 games in with 95 points accumulated, the Bruins still have a chance to squeak into the post-season. Yesterday the Penguins helped them out by losing to the Islanders and staying only one point ahead of Boston in the standings. So what's in store for today?
Ottawa is currently 2 points ahead of Boston in the standings and are in control of their own destiny. If they earn at least one point in their matinee game against the Flyers they are in. If they don't, then they risk the chance of being eliminated if both the Penguins and Bruins sneak in front of them.
