The Patriots heard that the Denver defense could get beat by the long
ball. Unfortunately they forget that Brady's accuracy beyond 10 yards was pedestrian at best.
Since they didn't get any big gains in their first two rushing attempts they abandoned it. In total they would only take it on the ground 16 times for a total of 64 yards.
The defense did a pretty good job considering Aqib Talib went out early in the first quarter and they were going against Peyton Manning. Yes, that Peyton Manning, the guy who is hands down better than Tom Brady. Well, at least Tom Brady post his marriage to Giselle.
Holding the Broncos to 26 points in their house was impressive, but not good enough. Even depleted the defense held their own and deserve credit for overcoming obstacles. The offense however needs to go to the drawing board.
