It’s everything I have been waiting for, and it finally happened. Overnight, it seems–from city hall screenings to rowdy bars and suburban houses–citizens of the United States finally realized what they were missing. That’s right: the fresh cut grass, the energy in the pitch, the fancy footwork. Somehow, the US has finally fallen in love with soccer.

Tonight the Bruins start their journey towards another President's Cup and hopefully a Stanley Cup. Yes I agree if I had to choose one cup, Sir Stanley's would be the one I would want. Nevertheless the keys to both cups are pretty much the same in my eyes. Having watched the Patriots' offense struggle for the first four weeks of the season, it was nice to see them kick it into gear against the Bengals on Sunday night. Besides scoring more points and gaining more yards than they had in any game previously this season, what else changed?
While watching the Patriots play last Sunday, I made the comment that the biggest problem with the Patriots' defense this season is their offense. Both my New England and Kansas City friends were in agreement. While last week the Patriots' defense played rather poorly, I still think a big part of the problem was still their offense.
Kenbrell Thompkins- Really? We waived Thompkins heading into this week's game. Surely I'm not the only one thinking that maybe Thompkins was the person who got into a fight with Josh McDaniels.
