Last Christmas Eve the Patriots gave their fans an early present by destroying the Jets by a score of 41-3. This result was light years away from games against the green in recent years. Here's a quick look at some of those other games.
2016- 11/27 @Jets- Patriots won 22-17. Alan Branch had a blocked field goal.
2015- 10/25 @home- Patriots won 30-23. Recovered a Jets' fumble on 19 yard line on the second play of the game and only got a field goal. Later had 1st and goal from the 6 and only got a field goal. Came back in 4th with two touchdowns.
12/27 @Jets- Patriots lost 26-20 in overtime. Down 10-3, Brady threw a pick 6 to Revis to start the second half. Jamie Collins had a fumble recovery for a touchdown. With the game tied and 25 seconds left, Brady took a knee to let the clock drain. After winning the overtime coin toss, the Patriots elected to defer.....Jets scored a TD ending the game.

12/21 @home- Patriots won 17-16. The Patriots started the game with two 3 & outs again. With five minutes left to the game, Brady threw a pick on second down putting the Jets in field goal range. Luckily, Hightower had a huge sack on third down which pushed the Jets back an extra ten yards. Folk didn't make the kick.
2013- 10/20 @Jets- Patriots lost 30-27. Logan Ryan had a pick six. Brady threw a pick six to start the second half. The offense followed that up with three consecutive 3 & outs. Chris Jones became the first player to ever get called for pushing his teammate into the opponents' field goal formation. The flag came on a game winning 56 yard field goal attempt that went wide left. With a do-over from much closer, Folk won the game for the Jets. Belichick was pissed about the new rule was supposed to be enforced on players pushing from "the second level". Fans were pissed because Rex alerted the umpires to blow the whistle.
