- Don’t leave your feet on defense when your opponent is +10 feet from the basket.
- Stop whining about bad calls. You are in Cleveland and the NBA would like a 7 game series with the Cavs moving on.
- When driving to the hoop, know where LeBron is. While he doesn’t generally play much defense, he’s coming in to protect the rim. Keep in mind, LeBron has this uncanny ability to contest shots without ever fouling an opponent. If you know where LeBron is coming from, then you know who’s open.
- None of you are Michael Jordan, so no more elevating and deciding in the air. You had 15 turnovers Saturday.
If you watched Saturday’s game you know that the Celtics didn’t play well and many of the Cavs had their best playoff games. While there isn’t much you do when LeBron and Kyle Korver are a perfect 7 for 7 from behind the arc and LeBron gets to call his own fouls, there definitely are some fixes which the Celtics are in control of.
