With three games left in the regular season, the Bruins are in Winnipeg taking on the Jets for the second time this season. The Bruins were 4-1 winners last time these two met up in Boston on January 4th. While the Bruins have won almost all of the games they've played since then, the Jets have done the opposite losing 20 games.
The last time the Jets faced the Bruins it was a match up of coaches named Claude. The Jets are no longer coached by Claude Noel as he was fired a week after they played the Bruins. Paul Maurice is currently leading the helm at Winnipeg as the interim coach. Although his team has been eliminated from making the playoffs, Maurice is still expecting a lot from his players. If you happen to notice a gash on Maurice's face and are wondering what happened, he got a puck to the face during the period of a game last Thursday.
With just 3 games left to the regular season, Claude Julien is also still expecting 100% effort from his players. He was quoted on the Boston Bruins' twitter as saying "If you're going to get dressed and you're going to play, you've got to play hard, no matter what." While Julien is expecting his players to go hard during practices and games, he is also giving guys some rest by not having them suit up. Tonight it looks like Bergeron and Chara will get the night off. With Chad Johnson getting the start in net, Tuukka Rask will also be getting some rest tonight.
