When I wrote my pregame outlook of the Patriots' game, I anticipated the weather being much worse than it actually was. With that being said, I think I was pretty accurate with my prediction. I'm glad it didn't take long to dispel the theory that New England was messing with the Steelers' radio signals. While it didn't end up affecting the game, I wonder if this missed "delay of game" penalty was caused by communication problems.

It's been two years since the New England Patriots faced the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here's a look back at their last game to get you fired up if you aren't already. Don't worry, this will be a multiple post day. I'll be supplying you with my pre-game thoughts sometime after lunch. In the meantime, Do Your Job and get fired up for tonight's game.
This morning I reminded you about the last time the Patriots played the Steelers. Now I'm going to give you my thoughts and concerns heading into tonight's game.
After finally getting my printer to print the Patriots' roster yesterday morning, I attempted to come up with a 53 man roster before heading to work. My list was pretty good as I had 46 correct. My major mistake was ending up with 54 and not realizing it until today. Oh well, I'll just blame it on all those similar names. (If you enjoy looking at names, you should check out my post from earlier this summer about all the names on the Patriots' roster.) Here's the breakdown on how I did.
Here's my list of 53 players who I expect to make the Patriots roster. With LeGarrette Blount suspended for the first game, he is not included on this alphabetical list. I've added a few notes to some players who I think are pretty low on the totem pole. I've also added in a few names of players I expect to see on the practice squad.
