After having two days off, the Bruins will have back to back games against two playoff contenders from the west. Tonight they face off against the Avalanche and tomorrow they take on the Coyotes. Both games are at 9:00 ET on NESN. This will be the second and final time the Bruins face both teams this season barring a matchup in the Stanley Cup.

After making some pretty bold moves to bolster their defense and offense, the Patriots made a curious acquisition when they signed long snapper Charley Hughlett to a 2 year deal. What makes this curious is that the Patriots resigned long snapper Danny Aiken to an extra year before the free agency period even started.
In a few hours March Madness will officially commence. With that I'm going to share a few succint thoughts about the tournament.
When I originally heard that the Patriots were interested in DeSean Jackson I wasn't really for it. While many people like it because he is a deep threat, I do not think that is a need of the Patriots.
The Bruins took their 9 game winning streak on the road to New Jersey and left the garden state with their tenth consecutive victory. The Bruins came out shooting early and managed to get 9 shots on net before Patrik Elias got the Devils in on the fun. By the end of the 1st period the Bruins would have a 1-0 lead and a 15-5 advantage of shots on net.
